According to the type, there are mainly American-style hose clamps, German-style hose clamps, single-ear electrodeless hose clamps, T-type hose clamps, etc. The following mainly introduces the characteristics and functions of these types of throat hoop
1. American-style hose clamps, also known as conventional hose clamps, are widely used general-purpose hose clamps.
Features: The rectangular hole groove on the steel belt provides a more powerful and precise bite, and the torque is larger than that of the German hose clamp; the disadvantage is that there is a dead angle under the worm, which is prone to leakage
Application: American-style hose clamps are widely used, mainly including automobile industry (connection of air intake system, radiator hose, heater hose, turbocharger, diesel particulate filter, exhaust gas circulation system and other pipe fittings), fire protection, railway, White goods, agriculture, maritime, medical and food industries
2. The main difference between German-style hose clamps and American-style hose clamps is that they are non-perforated, non-perforated and flanged to protect the surface of the hose from damage.
Features: The torque is balanced, the pressure is uniform, and it can provide a stable and safe fastening effect; the disadvantage is that there is a dead corner under the worm, which is prone to leakage
Application: Usually used in the automotive industry, white goods, industry, mining, maritime and other industries, especially the connection of hoses, the corresponding material can be selected according to the actual application environment
3. Single ear electrodeless throat hoop
Features: 360° non-polar design, the surface of the hose is uniformly compressed by force, all-round sealing protection, no dead angle; cochlear design, so that the dimensional changes of the fasteners caused by temperature changes are compensated, and the fastened state is maintained for a long time. Effectively prevent leakage; small size, simple installation, fast and safe.
Application: Widely used in hoses and plastic pipes, especially suitable for beverages, automobiles, ships, motorcycles and industries
Installation: This type of throat hoop installation requires the use of a special one-ear electrodeless forceps operation
Cover the hose with a suitable size single-ear infinite throat hoop, insert it into the connecting device, and place the throat hoop in the correct position, then clamp the throat hoop with a single-ear straight-mouth pliers. If the ear space is not allowed, you can use the side Pliers, installed so that they are parallel to the pipe
4. T-type strong hose clamp
Features: The cuff has strong tension and torque, and provides uniform sealing pressure, 360° no dead angle can effectively prevent leakage, the edge and inner side of the cuff are smoothed to protect the hose, and the welded structure improves safety and reliability
Applications: T-bolt hose clamps are used to provide leak-free connections, typical installations include truck air intakes and hoses, automotive cooling valve ducts, turbine flange connections, motorcycle exhaust systems, marine applications, hoses for irrigation systems, Pump hoses and filter bags, etc.
5. Torque compensation hose clamp
The torque compensation hose clamp is developed on the basis of the conventional hose clamp. By adding an elastic steel ring inside the conventional hose clamp, it can effectively compensate for the torque attenuation caused by the aging of the hose or thermal expansion and contraction.
Features: The unique deformable elastic steel ring design has no dead angle at 360° compared to the conventional throat hoop, which can effectively compensate for torque attenuation and prevent leakage and loosening.
